Move for Homes is an annual fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia where over the course of 6 weeks (June 4- July 11), participants will set goals for whatever type of exercise or movement they choose, and will fundraise as they reach those goals!
This event will be done mostly virtual, with communication to supporters and most events being virtual as well. Registration is $100 and is included in your individual fundraising goal of $900. After signing up, set your movement goals, and begin your fundraising journey.
What is Move for Homes?
Any person can participate in this event this year. We want to ensure that everyone can participate from anywhere!
You can choose the type of movement, or lack thereof, you would like to do that will be tied to weekly goals and an overall goal that you will share with supporters of your own fundraiser. You will aim to raise $900 to help us reach our larger event goal of $40,000 which will support Habitat's mission to build and repair more so that all Philadelphians have a decent place to live!
Your movement and goals can be anything! Choose to run, meditate, stretch, or even juggle. Your goal can be 5, 10 or even 100 miles hiked, jogged, or walked over 6 weeks. You could even do 60 hours of meditation, stretching, or mindfulness. You can be creative in choosing your movement activity and setting your goals. The whole point is to have fun and feel good as you raise funds to support Habitat's mission!

GETTING STARTED
Sign up to MOVE!
Registration is $100 which will go toward your fundraising goal of $900, and all participants will receive a T-Shirt upon registering. You will receive your how-to packet from Habitat Philadelphia, and you will create your personalized fundraising page, which you will update with your picture, movement goals, and fundraising goals! You can also update as you move along in the process.
